For a lot of visitors, comfort matters just as much as the fishing itself, especially when you’re bringing kids, grandparents, or people who’ve never been offshore before. The Island Girl is equipped with air conditioning and heat throughout the vessel. There's a bathroom with a stand-up hot water shower, as well as a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, Big Green Egg smoker/grill, TV/DVD player, Sirius XM satellite radio, seating, and bunks. That makes a long day on the water a whole lot easier and more enjoyable for everybody onboard.
We try to keep things simple for you so you can focus on the fun part. We provide rods, reels, tackle, bait, and help from the crew with rigging, baiting hooks, and landing fish. Your fishing licenses are covered as part of the trip, too. All you really need to think about is showing up ready for a good time, with a small cooler with your food, drinks, and water (no glass bottles, please). We also recommend bringing a beach bag packed with sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, and a change of clothes. When the trip is over, fish cleaning is available at the dock for an added fee to make it easier to take back and enjoy.
