Exact species vary with conditions and regulations, but here’s what’s commonly on tap in fall:
King & Spanish Mackerel – Consistent fall bites as schools push along the beach and nearshore rips; great for mixed groups that love fast action.
Bull Redfish – Hefty reds stage in the passes and along bait lines; we often sight-fish birds and nervous bait to stay on them.
Vermilion Snapper (Beeliners) – Reliable bottom action over structure with tasty fillets.
Triggerfish & Reef Mix – When seasons allow, hard-bottom stops can produce gray triggerfish, plus a rotation of grouper and jacks on the deeper pieces. (We follow current Alabama and federal rules and keep you legal and dialed in.)
Wahoo & Blackfin – On the right temperature breaks and weed lines, fall can sprinkle in pelagic surprises on longer runs.
Captain Brian Lynch has been a licensed captain for over 30 years, with lots of experience running offshore trips along the northern Gulf Coast, including right here in beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama. Our crew loves hosting anglers of all experience levels—kids, first-timers, and salty regulars are all welcome. We provide all the gear you'll require, along with coaching in the basics of fishing; you bring the enthusiasm, your snacks, and the camera. We can clean and bag your catch for you back at the dock so you can head straight to a local “cook your catch” spot or back to the condo.
More desirable dates—especially weekends—can go fast, so it's always best to book ahead, but we're happy to take your group on a last-minute fishing excursion if we have slots available.
