Absolutely. Our trips are great for first-timers, families, and beginners, with a crew that is happy to teach the basics of fishing and help you get comfortable with the gear.
Yes—rods, reels, tackle, and bait are all provided, and licenses are covered for everyone onboard.
Bring a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, snacks, and drinks—no glass containers—plus a cooler for your cleaned fish. We suggest consolidating your food and drinks into as few coolers as possible, because most people don't eat much while fishing, and it's easy to over-pack. Most people keep it simple with sandwiches, but you're welcome to bring burgers or hot dogs for the Big Green Egg grill, if you're in the mood for something more substantial. If conditions are unsafe, Island Girl Charters will reschedule if possible. If rescheduling isn’t an option, deposits will be fully refunded.
